We offer Expressive Art Groups for:
🎨 Ages 6–10 – our younger artists
🎨 Ages 11+ – our growing creatives
Each group is designed with age-appropriate materials, themes, and activities that spark imagination and emotional growth. Whether your child loves to make art, needs a new way to express big feelings, or just wants a creative space to connect with others—these groups are a great fit!
🎨 Explore new ways to express ourselves — using art to communicate thoughts, feelings, and experiences without relying on words.
🧠 Develop emotional resilience — working through emotions creatively and safely.
🗣️ Find and strengthen our unique voice — building confidence and a sense of self as creators.
🤝 Collaborate in a supportive space — where everyone is accepted and encouraged.
💬 Open up communication — using visual art to connect and understand ourselves and others.
✨ Enhance self-awareness and empathy — deepening our understanding of both ourselves and those around us.
🖌️ Practice creative techniques — experimenting with color, texture, and imagination.
🌈 Be our authentic selves — and enjoy a fun, colorful, and meaningful creative journey together!
At the end of the Expressive Art Groups, young artists are invited to take part in a Family and Friends Studio Show. This special event gives loved ones the chance to see the work created, explore the creative journey behind it, and celebrate each artist’s personal expression.
Participation is always optional, and each artist decides what they feel comfortable sharing. When viewing their work, we encourage family and friends to follow the artist’s lead—ask open-ended questions, listen with curiosity, and allow space for the artist to interpret and express their experience in their own words.
Expressive Art Groups are offered in the spring and summer at the Studio in Albert Bridge.
